Join Scouts for a lifetime of adventure…

1st Great Sutton Scout Troop is one of the most active and successful Scout Troops in Cheshire.

Each year our activities include:

  • A week-long Summer Camp planned in part by the Scouts themselves
  • A weekend camp planned and run by the Young Leaders with adult support
  • A weekend expedition
  • Chance to enter the Cheshire Hike and the District Rest a While Competition
  • Other Nights Away
  • Days out including supporting the Science Jamboree at the University of Liverpool
  • Night Hikes
  • Evenings out at places such as bowling, lazerquest, crazy golf
  • Skills nights including cooking, navigation, and home skills
  • The chance to develop Leadership, Teamwork and Communication Skills
  • Community Support
  • Remembrance Day Parade

Here at 1st Great Sutton Scout Group, we meet on Fridays, usually between 7.30 and 9.00.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
