Squirrels

Brownsea Squirrel Drey

The youngest section in scouting, we opened our first Drey in January 2024. Aged 4-6 years of age, our squirrels are determined to show that anything beavers, cubs and scouts can do they will have a really good go at!
With weekly meetings centred around an opening story squirrels take their first step into scouting and for our very youngest members helps with the transition to school too.
We explore, hike, play games, build and try our best to learn skills that will set us up for life as well as making new friends. Along with earning those all important badges to proudly display on our uniform!
We have a great leadership team and are always open to new adults joining us so we can expand the numbers and provide this exciting opportunity to more children on our waiting list.

Meet Friday 5:30 – 6:30 pm.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
